Estate and Trust Litigation and Dispute Resolution
Estate litigation usually involves family members, and that means it is emotionally charged. Ken always tells clients that when family members litigate, the only ones who come out ahead are the lawyers. Unfortunately, there are some situations where litigation cannot be avoided. In those situations, Ken can offer important advice and guidance to clients, and also works with other attorneys who might be handling the actual litigation but are not intimately familiar with the procedures and issues lawyers and clients face in probate court.
In addition, Ken is an experienced mediator, having served as such on Superior and Appellate Court mediation panels for well in excess of ten years. Ken is a strong believer that all persons are better served by settling a dispute, if at all possible, than having that dispute decided by a judge. Thus, if Ken is not representing a party to a dispute, he can act as a mediator. If he is representing a party, he can provide experienced counsel and guidance in the mediation process.
If you need assistance in any of these areas, do not hesitate to call Ken at (818) 865-0766 or (805) 497-6299.
